everything up to the master socket iirc.
piece of piss adding another one or moving it. that cable is available cheaply from electrical suppliers and depending on what kind of socket you have/buy the only other thing you may need to buy is a krone tool to push the cables in.
it's been a while but iirc you need to connect the terminals labelled 2&5 on the master to the terminals labelled 2&5 in the slave, (usually using the pair of blue/white coloured wires in the cable you buy) and depending if there is a capacitor in the slave or not you may need to run connect terminal 3 of the sockets to each other as well to be used as a bell wire. (only need to do number 3 if there's no capacitor in the slave socket iirc - usually using one of the orange ones but the colour of the wire is obviously immaterial - it's just the old BT wiring code).
like i said.. it's been a while though (15 years or so since i worked in voice comms) so it might be worth hanging on for someone who's still in that game to give their advice.

then basically as per what i wrote earlier. ![Grin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
might be worth mentioning that i think isp's generally say you should only connect your adsl router to the master socket but i've never taken any notice of that and never had problems because of it.

Cock on advice mate, as said easy enough to do.....make sure you buy a 'secondary' outlet and you'll more than likely need to connect number 3 in my experience to make it ring. You really need a telephone wire crimping tool to make the conections but i guess you could manage without if you don't know anyone with one. 4 core bt cable will be fine when you go to buy it.
