A friend of mine who can genuinely sing entered a couple of years ago. She can properly sing too, so I was expecting her to get through at least the first stages. However, she never even got to the television stages to see Simon Cowel and co. There is an audition before that and she never got through, which makes me wonder how all the other ones we laugh at do get through? I'm not claiming she would have won, but when she can sing and those losers who can't go through, it makes you wonder...

its all about what people want to see on TV mate, i imagine half of the talent doesnt get through the first stage before they meet Cowell etc....

It's all edited to the max. that's what pisses me off, I know a few people who have gone thru the audition process like you have mentioned above.

Don't like how they make out that when they appear in front of the judges it's their 1st audition and they haven't seen anyone else. Not that i expect them to personally vet 200k people, but that's they way it's put accross, so it's misleading.

Very misleading. My friend seen a whole load of people and was never appeared on television. Yet these retards who we all laugh at get to go on television? What the fuck is that all about. Makes great television, but it's just not fair for the others. I told her if she was to go on again, to make up a load of lies about a dead family member, and claim she sang on her death bed and crap. Works for all the others.
