yeh 2.1 litres and a cheap way of getting forged pistons in there , but for a extra £200 you can have proper forged pistons
try ian howell @ area six motorsports as he gets them custom made and he invented the zvh engine
hope this helps mate
cheers paul

They dont, they put those pistons in Zetec Turbo engines, they use the XE pistons in the ZVH turbo engines.
This might sound stupid, but im confused!!

Calibra Turbo pistons are from the C20LET engine and are lower compression when compared to the ones from the normal redtop Vauxhall 2.0 XE engine.
The LET pistons in a zetec turbo engine give a c/r of 7.4:1 whereas the XE pistons give around 8.2:1 iirc, if you put the LET pistons in a ZVH engine the c/r would be a lot lower than 7.4:1 as the CVH head has a much larger combustion chamber volume than the zetec head, the c/r is likely to be closer to 6:1, hence why i said people fit the XE pistons into ZVH engines.

ok 84.8 mm standard bore with a 1mm overbore so 85.8mm but ian takes them to 86mm because he has custom pistons made .
Piston and Rod package £1000
We utilise our custom forging in an 86.00mm diameter as it permits the Zetec head to flow a marginal 5% better over a standard size bore. This is a small amount, but when you want the best, you take it where you can get it. Our forgings are designed for both Turbocharged and Nitrous applications, and feature 1.5mm thick compression rings set 8.0mm from the pistons top face. They are fitted with 9310 spec Wrist Pins and feature a full skirt for quiet running. They are also internally lightened and balanced to within 0.1grams.
The rod supplied is an H beam design and fitted with ARP rod bolts. This is utilised in all our engine packages. It is 2.5mm longer than a standard Zetec/ Focus RS rod. The benefit of the additional length is additional power at the flywheel and smoother engine running.
We also provide pistons in alternate diameters (e.g. for 1.8 conversions) upon request, but at the same cost!
is that better
cheers paul
