i like that!
front end and doors look like a 3dr, i was wondering if the rear was a p100 with a roof, but it doesn't look like it.

I reckon it started life as a sierra estate, with 3dr doors and front end added, pillars moved back and rear quarters smoothed?

VCF on the ring road closed years ago, chris who used to work there now works at L&R on Sweetbriar, the vans owner Gary still has one VCF store on the Cromer Road however.
Having spoken to Gary many times, I'm 99% sure it is a regular item from another country, I will ask chris next time I see him.

They may now own it, Gary may have sold it, I think his remaining shop, if still there concentrates on more leisure camping type stuff rather than car only, I saw him in the car a few years back on A11, actually saying that I'm pretty sure he's emigrated to the US, he was seriously considering it years ago.

Yes in was Custom built in late 80`s
yes theres another ....copied from this one using a mk2 shell in the late 90`s

It was built by SAS bodyshop in Norwich using a brand new estate shell, cossie doors, rear qtrs half 3dr half estate with custom made factory look upper panels, originally fitted with a german estate car bodykit (rare as hens teeth in the 80`s) which was then modified several times over the years as various parts from other cars were employed.

It looked a bit max powerish as that was the look of the nineteys and after all it was a promo car and intended to get noticed.

starting of pinto powered, then v6 its now in the hands of p&p who airbagged it, chopped it about a bit more and threw in a v8....at last!!

vcf closed in 07 (both shops) and Gary has indeed emigrated to Canada.

Hope this helps......Chris ex-vcf
