Default How have you lot hung/stored your bikes in the garage?

Unfortunately my garage isnt the biggest in the world, so... I'm after idea's and photos of how to hang my mountain bike up in the garage, ideally from the ceiling or high up on the wall to save space.

I dont want to custom fabricate brackets etc, so could you also say where you bought the brackets from?

Show us yours...

My garage has a plaster boarded and painted ceiling so cant see where the beams are i'm thinking wall brackets may be the better option.

I couldn't find anything on Halfords website, although ebay has a couple of canny brackets with integrated baskets for accessories, like this...

I have a bike rack I put on the back of the car, then when i get home i put this on the wall in the garage using two ladder hooks ( about £10 ) then just put my bike back on the rack

I can actually just hang the bike on the hooks but it also gets my rack out of the way and off the floor

I got 2 S shaped brackets from B&Q, one end hooks over the rafters and the other you can hook anything up!! Then the bike hangs upside down from the wheels. Also got my mower etc hanging from them!

I got a couple of elongated ' S' hooks and put one end over a rafter and then hang the bikes in a line by their front wheels.
