Lol, i really do laugh when people say the about Radiohead, i dont find them depressing at all and i think i'd be more likely to want to end it all if i had to listen the shite thats in the charts all the time!
I've seen them twice live and they were brilliant.
I think they're fucking awesome, my favourite band for definite imo, Ok Computer is the best album ever made, they can do no wrong imo.![Top](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/smile011.gif)
Thom Yorkes solo stuff is very good as well, especially the track off the New Moon soundtrack, called Hearing Damage, fucking ace!

i guessed this thread would get this mixed view reaction, its true they are like marmite
What you can't deny them on is that it's so unique and experimental.
What does tick me off is just cos music can deliver a lot of feeling or emotion that it must be classed as depressing or wrist cutting just because its different or out of someones comfort zone. ,,
Alot of people dont like radiohead just because of his voice,, I look at it upon who else has his style and sound.
Idioteque live still kicks ass ,, dont know how people can't understand what the songs about.
Each to their own opinions that fair enough
but yer James I like that pulled apart video will keep an eye out for more.,

I used to like them quite a lot, but i' haven't followed them lately.
Suicide music? NO, not at all. Unstable folk have identifed with their music, and they were branded as such.
The bends and OK computer are possibly the greatest albums of the mid to late 90's.
If i wanted to end it, i'd probably listen to the oasis drone/whinge brothers
No so much a typical song, but i like it![Surprised](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/bigcry.gif)
Fitter Happier
Fitter, happier, more productive, comfortable, not drinking too much
Regular exercise at the gym, 3 days a week
Getting on better with your associate employee contemporaries at ease
Eating well, no more microwave dinners and saturated fats
A patient better driver, a safer car, baby smiling in back seat
Sleeping well, no bad dreams, no paranoia
Careful to all animals, never washing spiders down the plughole
Keep in contact with old friends, enjoy a drink now and then
Will frequently check credit at moral bank, hole in wall
Favors for favors, fond but not in love
Charity standing orders on sundays ring road supermarket
No killing moths or putting boiling water on the ants
Car wash, also on sundays, no longer afraid of the dark or midday shadows
Nothing so ridiculously teenage and desperate nothing so childish
At a better pace, slower and more calculated, no chance of escape
Now self-employed, concerned, but powerless
An empowered and informed member of society, pragmatism not idealism
Will not cry in public, less chance of illness, tires that grip in the wet
Shot of baby strapped in back seat, a good memory still cries at a good film
Still kisses with saliva, no longer empty and frantic like a cat tied to a stick
That's driven into frozen winter shit, the ability to laugh at weakness
Calm fitter, healthier and more productive a pig in a cage on antibiotics

you cant really compare radiohead to bands like oasis imo. oasis songs are a feel good sing when your drunk anthem type of music which relates to a wider range of people as its like a terrace chant at football. where as radioheads stuff is a lot more intense in a sense that its experimental and i believe you have to have a passion for music to see what there all about.
