Bosch 040 in tank....
Following on from the thread about 044, I was going to use one of these but du to space would prefer an in tank pump. Ive been looking at the Bosch 040.
For comparison here is the 044
They appear on paper to be very similar but Im not sure why there is a difference in operating pressure. I assume either would be ample for 400bhp at 3bar?

Just a bump seeing as no one has replied and this is meant to be a car forum!
I think it would be more than enough for the task to be honest. I fitted the first uprated pump from standard when I had a Subaru, which was meant to be good for 500bhp IIRC.

I've heard other people using the 044's in tank but it's 'supposed' to be gravity fed, wether it makes a diff or not...
044's are good for 500, maybe even slightly more
