just baught my second capri...
hi guys, just to share my excitement (over excitement) i have just brought my second capri as after i sold my first one i promised my self i would buy another one later in the future . its a 2.8i but without lsd. my last capri was a 1.6 laser straight away i put a 2.0 pinto engine in it soon after that i carried out a zetec turbo convertsion to it with around 200 bhp , this was ace as a concequence of this convertsion i had to remove the heater matrix and heater box it still had no power steering i still had it drifting everywere tho,
now my new 2.8i still has crap heaters no lsd making it abit hard to drift and its just abit faster then my old 2.0 pinto im abit dipressed but boy does it bring back some memories. just thought i would share this with you guys p.s i needed a sensible car for the winter.

My brother is a huge fan of the capri. Up until summer he had 4 of the bloody things. He only has one left now and I think he wants to sell it. After 4 years of hard graft as well! crazy. Got a pic here:

Here's mine, D plate 2.8i special 24v, she goes well with 24v cosworth engine, but as its christmas and i'm not working she is going to have to go soon sadly

awww, i love them too,i have a saph cossie, and a s2 rst. my 2.8i has the worts heaters, yet i still use this car for work... strainge that.
iv thaught about welding the diff up but i would suspect it would make it dificult to drive normally??? ie round abouts and stuff, especially in the dry.

what are those alloys called? i have a set of four for saleif anybody interested, with centrecaps but colud do with 4 new tyre as theyre close to limit. offers welcome!!!!

mate had loads of Capri's. Used to run the Capri Club up here in the N/E Scotland. Had a shot of one of his 2.8i's with the Turbo Technics conversion and that was an experience.
Sold his last one about a year ago. A MK1 with an all steel osseli 3L running tripple webbers.
Actually know where there are 2x 280's sitting although i have no idea of the condition.
