what is it?
where do i get a de fragger?
how do i it?
is it free?
and is it cos he has looked at porn on it? if so how do i get the sites back that he might have used

well for starters, go to www.ccleaner.com an download the free version, it will clean it right up. then defragging is done by doing this, click on start in bottom left, then all programs, then accessories then system tools, then defragment.. when your computer uses memory it kind of saves bits of files here an there, defraging it just puts them all together as you would expect them to be in the first place.. if he's been looking at porn you may have a virus mate..

seriously tho, on vista quickest way to get it is open start menu and type defrag in the search bar. Disk defragmenter will come up

If your running XP....

Press Start, programs, accesories, system tools, disk defragmenter then click defrag ment for whichever drive you want to do ... more than likey the C: drive

I have never defragged a hard disk, I just completely reinstall the o/s

Might start using ghost tho .......

If you have a macbook like me then there is no defragging option at all as it don't ever need doing

Its like having a garage that gets fucking cluttered after a while. The computer takes everything out of the hard drive and puts it back in again, in order, so it runs faster.

Make sure your computer isn't set to go on standby (or wiggle the mouse every now and then) and let it run. Depending on how bad it is, it can take over an hour!!!!
