yes fella my mk5 cab has diesel legs on it it also has a diesel engine in it the rear springs fit straight onto the shocks if u going the scrappy route and only getting springs there are two different types of front spring one the spring fits in a cup on the bottom of the leg the other the spring rests on a sort of shaped washer thingy easier to get the whole leg from a scrappy hope this helps

mk5/5b and mk6 front springs and shocks are totally different. Not sure if whole mk6 front strut assembly would fit tho. As for rears......dunno.
I got wrong springs delivered from Woodford Garage last week. Marked up 1992-95 which would be mk5/5b, no chance the fronts were fitting mk6 struts, different shape and diameter.

front legs are different as i already said but the complete asemblies interchange differences in tie rod mounts brake pipe brackets if u scrapyard it get it all then it changes over rears are different on the top mount mk5 2bolts mk6 3bolts springs interchange tho
