I av got a escort s2 with a fiesta inlet a rs 500 throttle body and ecu,
problem im having is everytime engine gets warm starts to backfire and splutter at 4000 rpm when boost comes in same place everytime in each gear.

So far changed plugs, leads checked for air leaks to no avail

Had car on rolling road its 8.3 on the co's which tells me the car is over fuelling
the car has got yellow injectors which think are cosworth

Any suggestions would be appreciated

is the chip inside the ECU right for the yellows

My brothers does exactly the same it his tps needs setting up correctly thats what jano done before and it ran great.
