Default Over cooking st200 electrics

Hi Gaz. Did the big problems start after the new alternator was fitted? If so it might be the wrong type. I had a similar problem, lights pulsing and boiling battery. The alternator for the st200 has a different regulater setup. I ordered a new one direct from a ford dealer and no problems since. I know it is cheaper from a scrappy but some times more expensive is better. Hope this helps.

I would have imagined that the OP would have fixed his issue by now! Check the date.
