Just watched American Gangster again and thinking what other good films there are that are based on a true story?

Tombstone was based on a true story, but quite inacurate and made wyatt earp into something that he really wasnt iirc

wolf creeks hardly a true story it was just loosely based on a couple of murders what happened in the bush

 

"At close range".... an old film with Sean Penn and Christopher Walken in it to name a few....but a really good film.........there's many others that are more well known,i just thought i'd mention one that isn't.......

I have Rise of the Footsoldier and watched that again the other night, always a goodun.

 

i didnt like that,i thought the guy who played tucker was a shite actor and that wig he had on his head was just laughable,couldnt take it seriously everytime that hairpiece was in shot

 

I know what you mean, You seen a picture of the real Tucker? His hair was laughable too....

 

yeah thats true lol, i just couldnt take that guys seriuosly in the film though
