Default How much?

As above, how much will MSD charge me to supply and fit a Group A headgasket to my 4x4 Saph Cosworth? I'll be looking at getting this done after christmas! Thanks.

Is there any need for an answer like that??? I'm trying to get a quick rough price in my head for what i need and i was hoping someone thats had one done would reply and not someone that has nothing constructive to say like yourself!

i would say they would charge 6 hours max!so depending on the rate say around £400-450 labour,parts including headskim around £150,so around 600-650 i would say!more if you wanted the stem seals replaced!(which i would while the head is off!)

thats one of the more cheaper things on a cossie lol!!!better taking it to a specialist then a normal garage imho!unless you have a mate who can do it

Yep there's every need for an answer like that , fact is someone else has taken the time to sit there and answer your question and (no offence to mechanic but) you really aren't any wiser are you.
You will learn very quickly during cosworth ownership the best way to find the info you need is to pick up the phone and speak directly to the specialists .
I know that neither stu @ msd or tony @ turbosytems mind when someone calls with a genuine enquiry .

Ok lol i just felt your reply was a tad harsh? Maybe its just me, but like i said before i was just after a rough price and didn't feel it was worth hassling Stu for something that i wont be getting done for a while that was all.

a few years back it normally used to cost around a grand to have a cossie headgasket done properly the gasket kits are a lot cheaper now through different places rather then a gen ford kit
