Do you ever
Have one of those days when you just open up the garage and think WHY
Ive been like that for the past few months with my 3 door , and think to myself i really cant be arsed anymore etc etc so this week ive been looking at evo 8's and audi s4s . Just be nice to get into a newer car without all the worry its going to get nicked or go wrong.
Whos feels the same and do you regret selling up ??

Even though my 3 Door is at Martoons right now being setup (well probably not right now but you know what I mean) I still like the thought of an EVO espically Si B's black one that he's selling.

i do the same all the time. Unfortunately what i do always think about is if i still had my first saff then it would be awesome now if i just stuck with it and plowed all the money i have wasted into it.
Also if i had picked the right tuner id have a 600hp saff now instead of looking for yet another cossie to start again with.
I take it you didnt like what you heard the guy said on sunday then dave.

my cossie bmw sat on my drive for over a year needing a new clutch. i just couldnt be bothered doing it as id lost interestand after many change of minds i eventually broke it up and sold all the bits.
i havent regretted it so far and i dont think i will as at 39 i just cant be bothered fannying about with old cars anymore.

Everyone gets like that. These are old cars. And lets face it, something you can use every day and leave in car parks and has all the comforts is going to appeal.
Especially when you can get a really nice 2.7 Bi Turbo S4 for about 6k

It,s the WINTER BLUES guys i,m affraid, i went out in the 3dr a week ago for the first time in about 6-7weeks and the BUZZ i got from it was still awesome, Harris, i,ve done the whole EVO thing as many will tell you off here...about 4times.. they are great cars and SO capable, BUT i ALWAYS came back to a cossie, now that just might be my age and losing my marbles... but i just prefer cossies to Evos, yes they,re old, rattle, have oil leaks, smoke etc but when they,re running, mapped correctly they,re just brilliant imo..
Saying that though, try an Evo if you feel that why, i think EVERYONE should try one....

Went out to my beloved saff one morning (always swore I'd never sell it) and thought why? went to national day and again thought why? So bought a bmw 530d and sold the cossie, don't miss it at all, all the worries about rust and engine failure have gone, but I think really with having 2 kids and no time for the car anymore and needed something that didn't need constant pampering made the final decision.

See that,s what i DON,T understand, if your engine and i mean anyone,s engine when i say that is correctly looked after, mapped etc it shouldn,t have any problems, i think cossies do get a bad name unjustified alot of the times, i,ve had 5 cossies and NEVER had any engine problems, maybe i,ve been lucky??
EVOS DO GO WRONG TOO...............
People forget, there,s 20yrs difference in these cars remember AND they do rust too believe me....

hit the nail on the head, its the same years ago, when people were looking after their cortinas and mk1 capris, and thought fuck it, i,ll have a nice new sierra, its just progression, i would never have a evo, because i dont like the looks, same with a escos, just not my bag, i would much rather put my cash into a 3dr set up right and looked after right its not about been stuck on the hard shoulder all the time, its about making the right choice, bought my saph from moorland classics, and have not had a problem with it, remeber, these cars have a race ENGINE in them, for the roads!! if you dont want put the time in then, buy a fucking 09 plate golf on tick!!
