Totally know where you're coming from mate, I got a bit of wheel spin changing from 3rd to 4th at speed yesterday... was in a Chevvy Aveo, road was damp right enough.

Cheers,
Grant

was only a quick blap it is honestly scary. the extra torque has taken its toll on the steering and top mount bushes already justin has given me an advisory sheet for a few little bits all steering and suspension bushes/joints hes advised i need rose joints instead now to cope. the boost must of been well down when i got it cause it feels in a different league now

it does boost from 3500 on the road but the bang feels around 4500 there twin gt28s, ported head and high lift cams im assuming are creating abit more lag but more power where its wanted.

The graph looks like a twin turbo 24v cosworth I have seen, well I must admit it was running a modded skyline map.

The car was metaly fast, but gear boxes could not take the power spike, thank fuck you have a skyline and box.

Good power, what is the part nearly showing 600 ?

The R32 that was from round here ran 555hp and he said it was insane, RK engine but that ended when the gearboxes couldn't stay in one piece.

torque is the dotted line read numbers from right side.

solid line is bhp read numbers from left side.

the bit that is showing nearly 600 is the torque curve but you got to look at the right hand column for that part of the graph its not 600 bhp but it is very good power though

i reckon if i could drive it between 5k - 7.5k rpm and get of the line it should do an impresive 1/4 mile. the suspension is way to hard for my liking but fully adjustable so i gotta set that up. and definitaly sort out the steering/arm suspension legs/bushes,

it will be when its dry and the suspension/steering are sorted. i was abit worried as alot of people have said they feel sluggish compared to a cossie, lacking the bang well that isnt the case with mine. im over then moon. they even fully cleaned the whole car inside out and it is virtually mint no rust at all just a couple of minor scratches and stonechips.
il take some pics tmrw and post them up.

wiseco forged custom 1mm oversize. its running 2 rb25det airflow meters and there now right on there limit and were the reason the boost is held at 1.4 bar.

Skylines are awesome, I cant understand why bhp & torque dont cross over at 5252 RPM though?

The operator didnt touch the brakes at all on the run down did he? :s

bhp = torque / 5252 x rpm

420 lbft / 5252 x 6000 rpm = 479 bhp graph shows 479 bhp for 6000 rpm and 420 lbft.

the bhp and torque figures down each side of the graph dont run paralel to each other which makes them cross at 7000 rpm.
