No one will know till tomorrow morning. Hopefully RATM are still in the lead. If not they have until the weekend to get back in the lead which isn't impossible.

Majority of the Fags single is going to be bought by little teeny boppers who haven't been educated on REAL music. And when i say that i mean i have asked numerous amounts of teenagers if they knew who Jimmy Hendrix or Elvis were and then i get raged when they say 'Who are they? They are old, so they must be crap'

Raging Arse To Mouth. You and Elton's wonky eye brow giving it loads, when Geordie Joe falls out the closet with his pants to his ankles with Georgie Weorgie Micahel on his back.

Couldn't agree more mate, my missus is the same, listens to ndubz, jay z and anything else startv tunes will feed her on sky i was brought up on everything from john denver, some ska, raggae, country, rock and pop music. i apreciate a very wide range of music in my opinion BUT i have absolutly no time for the continous X-Factor COVER VERSIONS, as thats all they are making it to number one, even if they dont really seem that good. its monkey see monkey do, but i have purchased RATM

i'm away for the weekend tomorow, wont have computer access, Bastard! i know it ssad, but i've become quite interested in the whole subject the papers are loving it anyways.

agreed mate, I'm 'only' 19, but was brought up on a cocktail of The Who, The Clash, The Sex Pistols, Hendrix, etc. alot of this new music is utter shite in my eyes, and faggot xfactor boy can get fucked. Don't worry though, he'll hopefully end up like the last bloke, and have one single, then dissapear, best way for things to go IMO.

I've got my copy of Killing In The Name... bought on itunes last night. Will probably buy the full album again as a download too since my CD is scratched to fuck!

Would be interesting if it was number one, but as above, Joe's CD singles in the shops will sell very quickly with all the tweenies demanding it from their parents!

Bought mine on Play.com for 65p.
I'm sure if RATM said they'd give it back to charity, they would - they're like the Bob Geldoff of real music, in a good way

real music... you just mean music you like. If it makes a teeny bopper happy then why are you bothered?

If me and christian enjoyed the x factor series... why does that effect you?

so angry over it all...

just because some people choose to like and experience different things doesn't mean one is wrong and one is right.

live and let live I say.

for some reason this anger and reaction kinda reminds me about RELIGION.... which in my experience is the root of ALL the worlds problems. (and Simon Cowell obviously!)

Quite enjoying the little battle for number 1 and glad money is getting raised for charity. Well done to RATM. Top gesture.

Still hope Joe wins it though!

I listen to music that you wouldn't want to be caught dead listening to so its not just the music i listen to. If i wanted to listen to Pop i'd go listen to Pop when it was at its prime in the 80s and 90s. I listen to every kind of music possible as i am a Session Guitarist for HIRE. So don't try and say its strictly music i listen to cos its not. I can even admit that i have played for more pop projects then i have Metal. Why? Because its my income and i enjoy playing MUSIC whatever style.

Why does X-Factor effect me? My income is playing live music with my band and playing for other artists for their recordings. BUT X-Factor is whats killing off all other Genres. When was the last time you heard a great Jazz, Blues, Classical etc a sheer genius musicians at the top of the charts?. The last Metal album to go to number one last year was Metallica's Death Magnetic. Since then how many more???

People are sick of seeing fuckers mime on stage. And when they do sing they can't sing for more than 5 minutes without they're voices turning to shit. Using Pro Tools Autotune to make them sound pitch perfect.

Don't believe me? Search for Beyonce's 'If i were a Boy' from a TV show she did in the states. Some kid snuck backstage, fucked around with her Autotune settings and made her sound like a cat being choked.

Its not about JOE, its about being forced what to listen to.

As for making Teeny Boppers happy? If these kids don't know who people like Elvis, Jimmy Hendrix, Frank Sinatra, Tom Waits, Sammy Davis, John Morrison etc are, the history of music will fade and you'll be left with pure shite for the future.

They want a fucking Christmas Ballad? Ryuichi Sakamoto is one of the finest Musicians out there and i would rather listen to a REAL musician play a fucking Instrument to perfection LIVE

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YwkuS9FlB7M

I would rather listen and see Ryuichi Sakamoto perform than watch some kid who sounds like his nuts are in a vice!!!

How is it Irrelevant? Yeah Beyonce has talent but her concerts are all mime and she'll only sing 3 to 5 songs on the night from the 15 song setlist. But there is probably someone who can blow Beyonce out the water, sing all the damn songs but what holds her back is how she looks.

Looks play a important part in the Music Industry now. I did a session for a Pop band called 'My Own Country' and on the day of the showcase, the record labels slated the look of the female singer. She had the talent. She had the stage presence and voice but the record labels didn't sign her because she didn't look to what the music was.

Personally, you gotta be in the Music Industry to understand the Music Industry and the Business behind it. I've been lucky enough to work with great people and band managers so i have learnt that what i thought was right was wrong. Nick Tauber (Thin Lizzy's Producer) is my manager for Pop related Session work and if it wasn't for him, i wouldn't be where i am today and i wouldn't know what the inside of the business is like.

Not taking a dig in anyway mate and your one of the peoples opinions i respect on this forum. Not saying your wrong but your not right. And you may feel the same about my opinion. But when your on the inside of the business and you see what goes on behind closed doors, you'll agree how they find bands and treat real talent is just wrong and what i'm laying out is based on experience and fact.
