Default Insurance question

I currently drive a minicab and had an accident earier this year where I literally tapped a car but she took me to the fuckin cleaners anyway.

Obviously she claimed against my taxi insurance.

Now if I want to insure a car for normal social, domestic and commuting, do I have to declare that accident, as technically it's different insurance?

In other words does taxi insurance claims have knock on effect on SD and commuting insurance?
