Question Reset clutch pedal

how do you reset the clutch on the cossie?pulled the pedal up to release the cable to get the box out etc,but now the pedal sits higher then the rest of the pedals now! bloody thing!it has clicked a few times when pressing it down!just wondered if it can be reset?

lift the pedal again and get someone to give the cable a little pull. then press the peddle a few times. that should be reset

can i pull the cable from inside the car as i lift the pedal or does it have to be box end?

also are you sure the cable is locate into the block properly? no sitting on the edge?

when i do mine i give it a little pull where is goes through the bulk head.

it should reset everytime you use it unless the stop for the return position is bent thats what releases the rachet

i presume you mean box side where the cable goes goes into the fork/arm?with regards to the cable sitting right?tbh i aint checked that

another way to do it if you don't have anyone to help.
pull your pedal up then with your other hand give the rachet a push, then press the pedal.
it will click a few time then stop where it should have been before

yes mate where it goes through your engine block itself. (thats the outer part of the cable)

mechanic28 has a high pedal, so i thought its racheted up to far for some reason or his cable is snagged up somewhere

push the pedal as far down as you can
then side step the clutch to let the pedal bang back up again
press it again and it will be ok

that will def bend the return stop

the only way it will sit higher is if the stop is bent,, thats what stops it coming right up
