Was excited about the Kahn fight on Saturday and the undercard of Mitchell v Kahns conquerer Bredis Prescott but Jesus, what a fight that will be. Hope Manny smashes him as he's actually a good bloke and interesting to watch. Not sure though.

I used to like boxing before UFC started to take off properly. This will be a good fight im sure, but any boxing fight now is really tame and boring compared to a good UFC fight. I hate to say it, but boxing just seems like the 'wimpy' version of the UFC now. 'Un-interesting', and 'un-involving' in comparison.

pac and roach are wanting 60% of the purse if they fight mayweather.
and bob arum has told pac that if he dont fight on the 13th of march he wont get another chance......pacmans declined several dates already due to running for office in his country.
i thought it would have been a 50/50 split but as much as i like pacman and roach theve been moaning alot in the last 3 fights on terms catch weight-money etc.
i mean cotto put his belt up but wasnt allowed to weigh the mandatory weight for the belt or the fight was off WTF

both pacman and mayweather are a completely different class to hatton. if you look at who did better against hatton you would out your money on pacman. As he demolished hatton sooo much quicker than mayweather did. I really think this fight will go to points. cant see either knocking the other out. And then they'll probably have a re match lol

Its up to you what you prefer but I take it you didn't see the Pacquiao v Cotto fight as that was a damn good fight in most peoples eyes, excellent in fact. Fuck this USA shit.

Yeah was a good fight for sure. For me, UFC has the 'anything can happen' thing which adds to the excitement. UFC is also closer to a 'real life fight' which makes it more exciting in my opinion. Too many rules and restrictions in boxing for my liking. Not to mention the 'strange' 'judging' that very often goes on.

look at it for face value, boxing is what it is-a fighting discipline.
and ufc is a mix of fighting disciplines.
both great in there own right but may i add that in stand up there aint a ufc fighter out there that could stand up with a top level boxer.
infact if you watch the ufc fights all the top level fighters can tag but jesus do they hang there chins out to be taken off!
btw i love the ufc too.

Well thats a matter of opinion, but i wont call your opinion pish, as you like too. Despite the quote being another sweeping statement of course.
A good boxer may beat a UFC fighter when its boxing rules, just like im sure a ufc fighter may well beat a boxer at ufc rules. Yes of course both are disciplined sports, so you can never say one fighter is 'better' than the other. Although if it was a fight in a pub, my money would certainly be on the UFC fighter, but thats another story for another day.
At the end of the day, to me, boxing is boring and tame like i said.

whos jsp? you mean gsp i take it?
i love boxing and mma,in fact i like all contact sports and fighting in general lol
i think you definately get more value for money with mma though, for instance if i buy a ppv boxing event ill rarely watch the undercard fights but with the ufc i allways watch the whole fight card even the prelims on the net

Yeah some of the undercard fights are great as they all have something to prove to work their way up. Dont forget the 3 hour UFC PPV's dont always show all the undercard fights either. You can check them all out the day after on the net.
Would love to see GSP move up in weight to challenge silva! Now that would be a fight! None of this boxing crap!
What makes ufc better for me, is the the fact that anything can happen. Many ways to win and every technique rolled into one. Minimal interference from the ref and let them slug it out till the end.
