Fortunatley it's not my car, it was a friends.

Customer paid up,

He's now looking for a genuine shell to put it all back together!

and he had the car 15 years!

christ, if i had a cossie i sure as hell wouldnt be lending it to any customer - theres only probably one or two mates id ever lend my car to!

Good point I never thought of that, although I'm guessing that the type of cars they tend to work on the customer would't be bothered bout an old saff and a few grand!

I worry about lending our ranger to customers let alone the cossie.

My wife is auto only which is handy especailly when she comes out with things like ow by the way i kerbed the wheels twice today but it dont matter because its the one ive done already LOL!

I let anyone drive my cars as long as I think they are safe, all on the understanding they bend it they mend it. Have driven a few mates 40k+ cars on the same basis, real mates know that if anything goes wrong it is a genuine mistake and will get sorted!
