Default Waste Spark Loom??

Ok, bought this Waste Spark Loom from Motorsport Developments, everythings fine with the part but im just stuck on where the 2 white wires go to in the picture below.

I summise these go to the phase sensor in which case should this not be a plug? Can anyone shed any light on the matter please?

Thanks

You just plug the two into the empty pins on the ECU harness - the instructions should tell you where.

Shaun it's unreal the difference isn't it?

Last time I knew, the looms came with the pin numbers on each wire. Just plug the wire into the empty pin slot on the ECU multiplug.

IIRC one was pin 9 and the other 26.

One wire goes to Pin 21 and the other goes to Pin 26, as for which ones which I have no idea as they were labelled on my loom.
If you want to pop round we could trace them back on mine and work it out.

i've had a nightmare with my rev counter on my 3 door. i've had to fit a rev counter out of a 4x4 because mine did'nt work and you can't do the mod to the back of the clocks on a 3dr or a 2wd saph.
now this one has stopped working

I've fitted a Defi Rev counter to mine and found it didn't work and read half the actual RPM reading after fitting the wasted spark kit, having abit of a stab in the dark I took the signal wire from Pin 21 and it worked perfectly I also changed the SECS gauge signal wire from Pin 25 to Pin 21 and that then worked perfectly too.
See my post on the SECS gauge:

I've never tried it on a original Rev counter but it maybe worth tring changing the signal wire to Pin 21 and see what happens, can't do it any harm.
