Default Engine rebuild for 1.6cvh turbo

Ok i'm looking at rebuilding my engine in a few months. ITs done 50K (thats from new) and has never been rebuilt. I dont plan on stupid power or boost, so what parts will i need? I plan on ARP bolting the conrods as i've heard the standard bolts are a weak point in the engine? Oh the head was done about 10K ago and i plan on getting a cylinder head developments head so that doesnt come into the build.

I was hoping that my pisons are ok! The engine doesn't need rebuilt, no noises or smoke etc, i just thought it would be sensible to get it done as everything in the bottom end is as it was the day it came out of the factory! I've already got a GRS intercooler, turbosystem chip, piper 285t2 cam + verneir, exhaust and filter.

you should be able to make 200 with that no problem, get it set up by a DECENT tuner, if the car is on 50k and never had a rebuild it should be fine

I've been told i should be ok by a few people, but i'm too paranoid to leave it. I would feel better if it was rebuilt, at least then i know that everything is as it should be

save yourself the money. With 50k from new and no rattles or smoke its sounds to me the engine doesnt need rebuilding!

Why waste your money on doing something that doesnt need doing? My bottom end is 102K from new and it doesnt smoke or rattle and still makes good power, so i wouldnt waste money on replacing parts that are perfectly fine.

The std rods and bolts are good for 230 bhp+ imo

If it was me i would spend the money on another area of the car (i.e suspension, wheels, brakes etc) or other upgrade parts in the engine (5th injector, aftermarket management, oil cooler)

Goodluck whatever

but like you said if you are concious about the condition you would want to rebore and add new pistons just to make sure, just part of the build surely?
50k is nothing as i have seen 200bhp cars running 100k on the clock with the only problem being the turbo and gearbox you should spend you money on them first as you have already got around 200bhp running through it with the mods now probally? if you are worried check the bores and pistons and see what condition they are in before you make any rash decisions
