12.1 megapixel camera sounds good but what they like to use ?

i read on another forum that due to problems sony have stopeed selling them at the moment. problems with them turning off randomly and having to restart to open anew application. carphone warehouse etc are not allowed to sell them

Sony Ericsson's recently released phone, the Satio, has run into issues in the UK after the company suspended sales of the device in stores following complaints from consumers. Apparently, the device suffered from a technical error that caused the phone to shut down unexpectedly.

Apart from this, there was also the issue wherein users had to face a reboot when they try to access certain applications. Since a fix to the issue was not possible with an over the air update, Sony Ericsson is replacing faulty handsets with new ones for affected users in the UK. Sony Ericsson hopes to clear the issue with these phones by Christmas. However, sales in the UK based retailers Carphonewarehouse and Phones4u have been suspended for the time being.

Sony Ericsson is known to goof up with new product launches. A few years ago, it was the turn of its then flagship, P990 smartphone, that suffered from teething troubles at the time of its launch, back in 2005.

yeh ive got one and is a mint phone. Ive always had nokias and at the time there was no decent nokias out. So i got the sony ericsson. The camera is good too. The only thing im not to keen on is where all the photos are. On my old nokias you could make albums up and go into the gallery and view them. The only way ive done it is in the file manager.

thanks. when i go into the shop il make sure i ask about this problem with them turning off. well providing they still sell them.
if they dont sell them what are the equvilent phone's that are about at moment? not really that clue'd up on them.
i want a phone with a good camera more than anything.

Got one on Orange, top phone and not had any problems with it. but my other half has one on T-moblie and dont tell her who her texts are from.

Brother in law had 2 in a week with T mobile. Not showing who texts are off, always turning off and freezing up. He got an i-phone and had it 3 days and thats gone off too and wont come back on

i agree with that. i bought a satio from carphone warehouse with no contract so phone is unbranded. i think the t mobile issues will be the t mobile branding.

the photo saving is shite aye. theres a button on the front screen to view photos but all in a row. you can go in through file manager to move stuff but its a pain. i havent even put other photos on the phone yet due to that. still getting used to it really.

DONT GET BLACK though as fuck me they are "finger print magnets". i read that before i saw one and its true they look awful. i got a silver one.

you can also get an invisi shield thing to protect them but havent put that on yet either

I was thinking of getting on of these from Orange but I've had a better offer from T Mobile (1000 minutes any network anytime, 400 texts, unlimited any network calls everyday from 7pm - 12am & unlimited Internet all for £26.50 pm).

So now I might get the HTC HD2 phone instead as it seems like a brilliant phone.

Mines with orange and i got a cracking deal through a friend im paying 25 quid a month.The only problems ive had with it is some times i cant type in a message.But when i change to the qwerty key board on the phone it starts to work again.I love my phone.Get one on a contract.
