Try the new one from Microsoft - it's free!
http://www.microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/
And less bloat compared with AVG.

Been using Avast for 2 years, my pc is online almost everyday and ive never had a problem/virus ![Top](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/smile011.gif)
As above AVG used to be good but recently in the last 6-12months its become bloated with stuff not everyone wants, if you just want a basic antivirus then AVG is no good in my opinion, it trys to do too many tasks which takes away from the main task................ keeping out virus

I've never had a problem with AVG, and despite people saying it's cause it never finds them,
Thats cause they're not there to find![007](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/bond.gif)
Personal choice, they're all much of a muchness. With ANY virus software, if you go and try for an infection, you'll get one.
