What did the tests consist of etc?

 

I did years ago, caught Genital Warts off a bird....

Had to have them frozen off, not nice..

 

Been to the local GUM clinic after seeing some ropey bird but came back all clear

 

I am actually looking into getting it done for piece of mind for the new bird, we both agreed to get checked just incase

 

blood test for HIV
swaps for throat etc
scrap then piss for the others...

That,s the trouble, i think alot of people ARE scared to go, don,t be, they,re there to treat you remember

 

i went, had blood test and urine sample, thats standard. thats it. you only have the dreaded 'umbrella scraping out the japs eye' if you show symptoms, ie, mucas out ya knob.

they look at ya cock a bit too, which is odd, specially as its usually and old woman LMAO

If you've have any unprotected sex or a lot of partners then you could well be infected...

then you become the person passing it on!

What if you meet the women/man of your dreams and give them a does of somthing?! Its not gonna go well LOL

So get tested - find out - its unlikly you'll need to do anything but if you do its usually a single does of tablets!

Do they ask you anything, like how many partners you've had and when the last one was etc? id imagine they do that to establish what kind of test(s) you need?

They dont ask how many partners you have had. They ask when you had sex last, do you have enprotected sex, anal sex (mmmm) have you shagged a guy.

i was having a slight discharge once after sleeping with some bird and found out she was shagging someone else, went twice to get it checked out the GUM clinics are the best, luckily i was all clear and it was just a slight urine infection or summit, but you are a bit uncomfortable after nothing major though i'v gotta go again soon just for peice of mind

My ex told me I needed to get tested after she had been shagging about, had a cotton swab thing down the Japs eye and antibiotics afterwards. Wasn't anything that couldn't be sorted on the day, didn't get any symptoms either to be fair.

Before the test you get asked a few questions, the doc asked me if I'd ever had sex with a man, I said no but was he offering, he didn't find it funny in the slightest.

I've been tested, and despite going with a lass who had chlamydia (sp?) for the few months we met up for 'special time' together.. I never caught anything and maintained my 100% clean record. She only found out that she had something when one of her ex's went to the GUM clinic and submitted her name as a past partner.

A lot of my friends have also been tested, its not a big thing IMO, I'd rather know if I was shooting something wrong since I don't want to be responsible for perpetuating infection.

I had checks a few years back for STD's, hepatitis a / b / c, plus the big one AIDS, as doc was convinced I had it, shit me pants time, the only way I could of got it was through a blood transfusion in 1983, when I had over 20 pints(RTA), but should have shown well before now, but some evidence to suggest incubation can be as long as 30 YEARS!!
All clear anyway, it was not seedy at all, don't even need appointment for std clinic just turn up, few bloods taken all was what I had, then 1 or 2 week wait.

I go after every partner and generally discuss it with a new partner.

A girl I know goes even if she only had protected sex.

When I was younger they would stick the umbrella down my nob - that was not nice, but I never had any symptoms - I asked recently and they said they only do it if you show symptoms- confused the fuck out of me.

Now a days they do a piss test, a general look over your meat and veg and offer you a blood test if you want for Syphalis and HIV/AIDS.

I always refused the latter as I was shit scared of needles but have had it done recently for peace of mind - they will also do same day test if you ask for it, but there is criteria you have to meet for that to happen - like when you had unprotected sex as there is an incubation period.

Basically though its better to be safe than sorry and in my opinion would you rather be shagging someone you know is clean and healthy or someone who doesn't know because they're scared of going.

Either way when you go the nurses, male and female, are generally quite sensitve and very respectful of the whole experience.

Just dont try and pull any totty in the waiting room....
