righto, then she says, so its been recovered by the AA again and taken back to citroen... im like WTF! what now

sh said, if citroen replcae the pads (which i know they are going to do) then all payments to ATS will be cancelled

collected my van earlier from citroen, its finally done.

they have replaced the discs and pads for genuine citroen ones...

apparently, with the pads that were fitted, when you braked it pushed the pads to the disc, then when you let off they moving away too far when they should stay close. hence when you pumped the pedal it kind of worked.

now as soon as you touch the pedal, it brakes..

fucking joy!!

only cost about 2k to geft sorted ffs...

yes, it sounded like ats fitted the wrong pads, and subsequently couldnt get a decent pedal, cos the fuckers were retracting too far...

i dont think i will be using them again!

so. just to confirm.....
They basically replaced just about Everything on the brake system of the van....

1x calliper
2x brake lines
2 x master cylinders
1xvac pump replaced or checked
4 x brake discs
2 x sets of brake pads

45 DAYS off the road.

just because they didnt realise the brake pads were not quite the right ones???

oh dreary me... this dont look good lol
