could it perhaps be a dodgy air flow never occasionally failing or more like the coil pack's. They are not nice things to drive those little 3 cylinder engines cylinder

i had one, and i completely regret owning it!! Had nothing but issues with it and as mentioned...head gasket! horrible to drive is not a lie either!!

if you want something small as a run around for a short while why not go for a fiesta or something like that?

If you're gonna buy it, you may as well get a MAF sensor at the same time, you'll need it soon enough. Other than that, they're pretty painful cars to own.

I need a car asap to get my lil lad to school, it would cost £12 a day to get him there and back, if i could get a fiesta TRUST me i would this guys only down the road (found the car on ebay) id use the si but its for sale as it needs WAY too much doing to it plus the insurance ran out on monday. By the sounds of it im better off camping outside school instead of buying a vauxhall

I hate to admit this but, I had one. It was pure shit. The EGR issues were followed by excessive engine oil. I traded it in against a year old Fiesta 1.4 and couldnt believe how much better a car could be. A month later I got a call from the new owner who said it had lunched itself. You would be better off with a rickshaw.

They are also seriously slow, pretty sure it's a suzuki engine, and as said timing chain troubles, HG as well, and very often gear linkages too.

It'd probably last a month, in the same way a Cossie can last 20 years It just might not be the bargain you thought.
