i dont know him so i have no idea. although he does hype his diesel 3 series up alot maybe thats to blame.

Yes basically, if you think hes bad on here visit pistonheads ( i believe he is called 335dxb or similar) he annoyed basically the whole ph community with the constant overhyping of 'his' car. He made proposterous claims about the performance of the car after no more than a generic remap etc. I am however not having a perosnal go at the chap himself I have never met him and have no personal experience of his car. On a brighter note I would imagine the 335d to be an excellent real world performance car.

I had a play in a 530 diesel bmw in my cossie and it wasnt getting away from me.

 

a 535d has about 286bhp and over 400lbft iirc. id guess a simple remap or chip would make a good difference.

 

One of my mates has a 535d Msport that hes had remapped,it aint no slouch especially for the size of the car.

 

so this has just turned into a thread taking the piss out oif him lol

 

I'm sure people have seen around 350bhp and huge torque from a remap. They are quicker than a lot of the cars on the road once rolling!

Most of the bmw drivers round here are bellends, doesnt mean they all are. Couple of my mates have bmw's, they're not bellends. Maybe learn to read whats being said instead of assuming? remember, to 'assume' makes an 'ass of u and me'
