Youre gaining like 20hp arnt you?

there are a few on www.zsoc.com that have done the conversion, may be worth asking on there for a guide on cost and issues.

A thought I had was: if the mk6 fiesta comes with the zetec 1.25 1.4 1.6 but also the duratec 2.0, why doesnt the duratec fit? what's the problem as this would be a mint conversion surely?

You need:

Left hand engine mount
3 Plug wiring loom for the mk4
You will also need to extend the throttle cable, a breather pipe from the brake servo and also different connections to the engine on the fuel lines, i suggest you make sure you get this part when you get your engine! you will have to replace these and are available from ford.
The puma airbox and MAF if the engine doesn't have it.
Also the correct ECU to run the puma.

You need, a set of cams ( shawspeed SS4) , a 4-2-1 Manifold and exhaust, stronger rod bolts and stiffer valve springs and a remap.

You'll wonder what the fuck the point is in fitting a 1.7 then as you'll comfortably be 150bhp with the potential for more if you change the standard airbox and inlet mainifold for TB's
