i use philips ones i got from currys,, well 2 types actually, both was around 20 quid and do the job, on set for the guy has the bits that go over your ears and the others are like earbuds but shite when running as they keep falling out

ipod headphones are fucking wank,,,,, they just fall out of my ears or if they do stay in they make my ears hurt

being an audio engineer i needed really good ones, i use shure E11 in-ear monitors they have 3 seperate solinoid drivers in each unit for hf, mid and bottom end, they are the best sounding in-ear-monitors ive ever heard, baby brothers aint bad either the E5's but it really does boil down to personal preference where audio listening is concerned, good luck amd you go and try some.

I tried some headphones in a shop once, they were 15k - supposed to be different from the normal headphone archictecture as in they used a different type of mechanism to drive the speakers..

Couldnt tell much difference tbh, they were clear tho

I've just bought a new set, tried out loads and finally landed on a set of ultimate ears metrofi 220's for Ł35

IMO they sounded the best for the money, easily outclassed some of the Ł150+ headphones. Super comfy too.

I have a set of Shure and a set of Bose, the Bose are by along way more comfortable and the quality is better with base for sure, they were both about Ł100
