Yes if you want to throw a shed load of money at it and stil have a slow car. Drop an RST motor in in full or better still wait until you can just buy an RST. Sorry chap, probably not what you wanted to hear

It would be a time bomb mate, dont waste your time.
We did an engine ages ago it was a 1.6 rst bottom end, 1.4 CVH head (no idea why we chose that) and that ran a TT carb set up, dumped it in a escort pop, loads of boost big fuelpump, BANG!!!! CRASH!!!! whoops
