Want my new saff cossie tuning up, and a general check over, how long is the waiting list usually???

Also do they do general changes like cam belts ect.....??

Not too sure where to take it, I'm new to this cossie stuff!!!!!!

he can do anything to a cossie ( and most other vehicles), ya could even go as far as calling him a mechanic

they wont touch any non-engine stuff tho, so dont ask em to change brake pads or anything like that...

Unsure on the exact booking time as the diary is at Work and im not until the 4th but im sure i could fit you in early January if your just needing a setup/checkover. As for being new to cossies, dont worry about that, if you need to know anything just ask as we are a friendly bunch on PF and theres always a more than eager bunch of chaps lurking around to help out a lady.


Not strictly true, i will do mechanical service items if required such as cambelts, fluids, pads etc its just that we dont get involved in heavy mechanicals like clutches/box's ect, as we tend to be busy enough doing only what we specialise in, due largely to there only being 2 of us.

Cheers guys, and thanks Stu, if you can fit me in early Jan that would be brilliant, I want a tune up and a general check, i've been told it's running a stage 1, but i've just got out of a 170bhp orion turbo and the cossie doesn't feel fast at all, so I was thinking if you are able to check what chip is in it and if it isn't a stage 1, could you put me 1 in?

Not trying to be disrespectful.But when you say dont feel as fast.I thought the same when i got out of my turbo into my cossie..Only realised how much quicker it is when i looked at speedo. It just the cossie a more refined/Quieter ride and it dont FEEL quicker but normally it is.Hope you understand wot i mean.

130 in a cossie is like crusing, 130n in a erst is dangerous


im always getting told off fopr speeding in me cabrio doing 60 yet i can do 90 in the cossie and as long as i dont ragg it to get there she dont even notice

 

Im sure we can solve your problems between us, if indeed there is any problem at all. Chips are no problem of course if you do indeed need one.

Even when I look at the speedo it doesn't seem to be going anywhere but it doesn't feel to be boosting right, then again saying that, it could just because I'm not used to it, I could do with getting someone in the orion next to me, and doing a 0-60 or even better a quarter mile!!!!!!
