Throw that amount of money at the focus as well then...![Rolling Eyes](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif)
Love how the cossie boys are getting their knickers in a twist. I wonder if any of you would actually race one on the road if you saw one, better still try take it on a twisty road.
Face it guys, FWD Focus RS is doing it, always was, and will continue to do so against the majority of the competition out there. Don't like it, buy a cossie and spend half your life repairing it/looking at how nice it looks in the garage/biting your finger nails off in case the wind picks up slightly or a spec of rain lands on it.

You're the one bumping up a thread to brag about a car thats had its nuts tuned off to beat a new focus RS
Not surprised with 4WD cossie would beat it up the strip with that much power. How much power was that cossie running anyway? Over 400?

Why pitch a modified car against a standard one though? Surely the point of his little video was to show how far car technology and dynamics have improved, and to say how good the Focus' are.
The Escort is a 15 year old car, so it's simply not going to compete like-for-like against a brand new Focus RS, even round the bends. And to expect it to is a little bit silly.
Sure a modified Escos could have more than held its own in that competition, but that wasn't what the video is about.
