A big difference in available Power.

2005 - 660bhp + 200bhp Nitrous = 860 potential.
2010 - 830bhp + 250bhp (pushed) = 1080 potential.

Thats a tad over 25% so in theory 8% quicker , running longer gearing will decrease that 8%. It would crack 220 if it was possible to harness that lot but it wont happen its too big a leap into the unknown (at what Speed does a Sierra get airbourne). 215 is the target with 213 being the speed where i wont run again.

Im confused i sold my old GT40 to Gav Diamond, didnt realise Dave had another GT40 he sold. Are we talking about another Gav - Please can someone help a pensioner get this clear .

I had one when l bought engine of Ranj it was the same as you old GT40 as Eric bought them into the UK at the same time, l sold mine to get the GT35

Ah I remember now, Eric smuggling them in . Neither were twin Scroll thats for sure.

I read Rods reply wrongly as he had challenged them at brunters. Not the correct way which is they have challenged him.

The turbo that was sold to Danny is a twin scroll, I highly doubt it's Dave's or Rod's old ones.

Different Gav, you may of spoken to him in the past about camshafts but I know he purchased the turbo from a shop somewhere.

It was definitely a twin scroll though, it has a divider on the exhaust flange of the housing which was why it ran 2 44mm gates.



Does Daves now run a GT4088R then or is it the same as this one ?
