Dave, my man with the clio dosn't get excited about many cars but he said he would like a ride!!! i tried to bid him on the fact

dave can you tell me what the gt40 is like to live with and when it comes to life???iv got one for my engine,i like the sound of more power but as im a race track car only dont want much more lag compared to my gt3542..any info would help cheers danny

Lag? dont get that.
Anyone who has been in YUM will just say it just takes off, The engine being high compression and stroker all helps

Thats why l took JB out im sure he would have a good idea of going fast and he got that last night clocked a very high speed within a mile distance
Now l know it as fast as it was with less boost wait till we get the 2.6 bar

yeah im pretty similar cr to you at 8.6 cr your 8.7 i believe or is that rod??what boost are you running and when does the turbo reach full boost???im going to give my engine a freshen up and get harvey to re dyno very soon,might do back to back with my turbos and see what happens..cheers

Just so looking forward to putting in the speed recorder to see what it will now to to 100mph and how fast it does the mile in
Next year we will get it to pod to get it into the 10sec quarters

Mark will make sure we use race on my top speed attempt just allows for a bit more engine safety.

bloody hell didn't realise that capri is still about, got a ride in it in 2002 down the mile and was scary fast then.
Dave that torque curve is just rediculous, over 500 lbs from 4250 till almost 7500rpm!!! Amazed you get the power in so low, its like it had gas to get the turbo spooling you even though I know you didn't.

one of my ex's used to freak out when i floored my car. was quite funny as she had some wierd circulation problem so boot it from 0-80 and by 60mph shed be almost passing out speaking gibberish

Why not get scs to build it fit & forget instead of all this not on full boost crap

I can only imagine the pace that car has !
I went out in the 300hp JP1 Jag at Bedford last weekend and nearly had a little moment to myself coming through the chicane at the end of the 1km straight, silly silly fast
