At the moment I would say the Mk2 RS2000 I had back in the 80's, and my Lancia Volumex after that - because I cant go out and buy one today.

In ten years time I will probably say my 3dr Cosworth, or 4x4 Saphire, or EVO RS, but I could still go and buy another so 'm saying Escort RS2000, all 110 bhp and 4 speed of it!!

My 1.4 Merit Astra XE. Had so many laughs in it back then, it was a quick fooker too. Chipped, reprofiled cams ans mild head work. Just used to kick its head in every time I got in it. Smoked a bit like but it loved it. I sold it when I bought my first Sapph, the lad who got it got caught with no insurance, doing 87 in a 50 zone, racing, dangerous driving, failure to stop, and then wrote it off into the back of a Micra all on sepereate occasions in 13 days

my 1st car was a mk 2 escort 1.3gl xcw 110v, had it painted porche orange flat front ound headlights , lowered 2" full cage stripped out , ashley exhaust etc so wish i had kept it and put the 1760 x flow in but sold it and got a f reg mk2 xr2 again a really good car . had loads since but them 2 stick in my mind most good times .
