Is the N97 the top of the tree as far as Nokia are concerned ?

Tried looking on the site thats famous for connecting people, but Nokia.co.uk isnt taking any calls at the moment


Due to renew my contract so want to make sure I get a decent phone as I'm going to be stuck with it for 18 months.

Any feed back appreciated.


The main thing thats important to me is Wi-Fi and a decent camera.

Alot of people who have had the N97 have had loads of problems with it.Im due an upgrade too and ive noticed that the new Nokias look shite.I like the new sony erricson.

the N97 or N97 mini are the nokias to go for.

All the software problems are mostly resolved now with updates. Best thing you can do is debrand the phone removing the logos and allowing you to always use the latest nokia software.

N97 has wireless and a 5mp camera which is fine for day to day stuff and much better than the 5mp camera i had on last phone. I think thats because it has decent optics.

Sure no camera phone will replace a proper camera.

I have the Nokia E71 and its a excllent phone only thing is the camera is only 3.2mp

I've got an N95 now and I've been amazed at the quality of the pics the camera takes.

I was taken by that new Sony thing with the 12megapixel camera but it gets panned in reviews.


I see Nokia have got the N900 due this month but how good that will be and if Vodafone will take it on is another matter.
