Was just coming through the road works on the M25 and a Dutch lorry was in the inside lane (m11) i was in the middle lane and he just moved over and drove straight into the side of me

We exchanged details and he said if i get a qoute and he thinks its reasonable he will pay out inside of going through the insurance, i am getting a qoute tomorrow and will call him to let him know the cost, but if he isnt happy i need to go through the insurance how long can i leave it until i tell them? as i dont wont to end up paying to get it fixed myself

up to 3 months.... at that stage insurance companys may say the damage could have deteriorated during that time.

if its a foreign lorry.. im sure u'll have to get ur insurers involved.... doubt he'l pay for it

Bit of a update

Went and got a qoute today and its going to cost about £1200 i phoned the guy up and he is going to pay up he has spoke to the bodyshop and they are just going to send him the bill, so will be booking it in tomorrow

Shame its had to happen at all, but that area of the M25 is a right pig at the mo ....

At least the garage are prepared to do the work knowing your not paying for it, and someone else is!

fingers crossed he defo pays for it tho!
