Now that the 3 liscenses are complete they add one more, and the ability to tune cars alittle.

Graphics are superb and they desperately need to release the full version SOON,

Right, I reckon us PS3 players should have a little competition. Name the track, car and best time

yeah, got it on my firmware modded xbox great game, for free but Im back playing the PS3 because the Xbox has broken again Fed up with having to get it fixed and prefer the PS3 to be honest

doubt it i had gt5 prologue when i had my ps3, it didnt offer anything different from the previous gt game imo

but even still, the graphics and gameplay outshine Forza,hence Forza took 3months to make, GT5 3 years

Forza is like a cartoon in comparisin to GT5. Dont just defend a game on the priciple that you cannot afford a PS3, let alone a 60GB like mine

I hammered it when i first got it, got all the licences, saved all my pennys to buy the ferrari f1 car, then on the short oval track, it was about a second a lap faster then the ford GT LM i was using, imagine my dissapointment, plus you cant us it for many races either.

I own both consoles and all previous Gran turismo's,fact is Forza is here right now and is amazing and GT5 still aint..I prefer my PS3 hardware wise but fact is the xbox has much better racing games at the moment.

Don't take it for granted that a game is better purely due to the graphics. The next Gran turismo will have an all new physics engine as the creator wasn't happy with the last one. Makes you wonder if they have had to raise there game due to other recent releases which is also causing the delays to the game?

Gran turismo 2 is still one of my all time favorite games, but I have this gut feeling that the next one will be to focused on realism etc and not enough fun just like GT3 and GT4.

But when the older GT's were out, were they not the best car game graphically? they managed to get the graphics right and the fun factor right, for me anyway. So if they can do it 2-3 times before why not again with the power of a PS3 behind them?

if you listen to the interviews its not really delayed like u you said they started from scratch on this one and the first one took 5 years to make just like this one, theres videos of how realistic the car handling looks and it looks as if it matches up to the graphics

Not the case imho. 360 graphics are amazing, but PS3 are at least as good, if not better. my mate has a 360, he has fifa 10 and ufc undisputed, which i have for the PS3, and HIS opinion, the graphics are better on said games on my PS3 than his 360.

I was gutted when I played Prologue. Thought they'd throttled all the fun out of it, and took it too far down the sim route.

I was a die-hard GT fan, but after playing Forza 3 that's definitely the best out there IMO!

Prologue was low price sampler of GT5 basically to celebrate 10 years of Gran Turismo. It had a few cars, a few tracks that were to be in GT5 and hardly any modding capabilityies. A bit like GT concept.

Graphics its a fine argument and pointless because BOTH games look realistic but game play isn't even up for debate I'm afraid. I'd be surprised if GT5 has better game play than Forza 2 never mind 3, because every other Gran Turismo didn't.

Forza has just brought so many more things to the table now but if all you Playstation fanboys are going to be stubborn and not splash out the £200 for an Xbox then its the best you're going to get isn't it. In your minds obviously "its going to be the best" but I've not even had my 360 for 2 years yet and already I've experienced TWO amazing Forza games whilst you lot are still waiting and I've hammered them on the best online console/system.

We're all enjoying it NOW, racing, making cars, trading and buying cars off the online auctions, gifting cars, winning credits online etc etc whilst you lot are still sat there bitching about games. The only thing I regret is waiting out for the PS3, should have just bought an Xbox 360 on day one. And when it finally does come out I probably won't even notice, Microshit + Xbox gives me all the games I need not to look elsewhere. PS3 just seems to be about waiting, wait for the COD 4 maps, wait for a decent racing game, don't get the extra GTA content and so on.
