anyone got one? i bought one today, 80gb, 512ram, 17in wide x black screen etc £1300 screen is amazing just need some high res pics as screen savers

 

prey it doesnt brake unless you bought the sellers extended warranty

if you just have the sony warranty then you will end up having to send it to the south of frace just to get looked at

 

think its time for me to part with my laptop actually

its a compaq presario 2500 they do a few models, mine is the one with 512 ram and i think a 80gb hard drive, its a pentium 4

model number is 2552EA

in superb condition

ive even had extra rubber little bungs stick on bottom to aid cooling distance between worksurface

Think I was loking at the same one today in the Sony shop - nice wide screen sexy lil laptop, was £1259 IIRC....

They had a STUNNING 42" LCD TV - that stood in floating glass - there was no plastic surround, was wall mountable (but came with a stand should you want it) and the picture quality was just incredible - never seen ANYTHING like it for it's size! Before xmas I saw the same thing but it was plasma and although good it weren'ta patch on this baby - this was better than, or as good as, 15" LCD.... And it was on slae - reduced from £7999, to £6250 I'll have two then

Also had a very sexy WEGA (whatever ) 42" rear projection flat screen - also astonishing quality, but didn't like the plastic surround, hto it was only £1650.....

 

I bought a Sony Vaio FX804 laptop bout 2 years ago (still got it and using it now), AMD Athlon 1500 cpu, 256 meg ram, 8 meg vga card, 30 gig hard drive split it 2, paid about a grand for it, 5 years extended warranty on it

Pity it's gonna break in a year or so

sony vai0 oh dear i work for DHL i pick about five of these up a week for sending back under warrenty and as mentioned on here they go back to france !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but i do pick up other makes just seems more sony than anybody else currently
