mate, the cod series has been ruined. us pc gamers have realised it, console gamers have yet too as cod has always been better on the pc than on a console. go back to cod2, t'was bloody awesome, leagues are still played on pc, its still one of the top played fps's. cod4 is the best latest one, but now they've removed dedicated servers from MW2 on the pc, IW have shot themselves in the foot.

a resounding win for cod4 then

to be honest, i like nice simple games that don't really require too much thinking, just playing to be honest as a driving game, i don't think burnout 3 can be topped, it's most excellent and none of this timed staged bollocks like the other ones have, and lost planet is about as techy as i'd like to go, with the ability to play at the "easy" level rather than "normal" or "hard" because i only play to relax really, not to stress out about leauge tables and throw a rant at not ebating certain bosses

Late reply but the best game/series out on the PS3 at the mo is Uncharted. Uncharted 2 is probably the best game on the PS3 to date, other titles I own and would recommend are as follows:

Metal gear solid 4
Grand theft auto 4
COD 4/5
Resident evil 5
Dead Space
Fifa 10
Guitar hero (any of them)

Also worth considering when they are released:
