Default perspex window making

?? Is it feasable to make your own pollycarb windows, rather than spoon £300 quid on buying them??
Anyone done it ??

id guess you can bend the plastic using a heat gun and a glass window as a template and then cut them to shape using a jigsaw?

I did it. A lot easier than I thought to be honest, bought some 4mm polycarbonate cheap, and found it very easy to cut with a decent hacksaw. Just a load of trial and error to get the shape just right but fit nicely. Took most of a day down my lockup with some card to make as a template of the old glass and a hacksaw.

Going to make me own sliders soon as looking at it, it really isnt that hard by the look of it.

just priced up the sheets, and the side windows and doors would come to about £60, will have to measure the rear screen, seems to be to large for the sheets available on the bay.

Dave i want t o buy a heated front screen now to do away with the blowers,.
If it was for the black 3 door i would buy the £400 quid set with black outers but its for the track car mate

Most windows have a bit of curve but the polycarbonate will happily bend to it I found.
