well fresh install of xp couple days ago, i spose not fully updated and it started messing about last night

takes ages to load up initially and explorer takes ages to get working

for some reason when u go to goodle and try searching for spybot etc it just redirects me, or sends me all over the place i just cant seem to get ti were i want, i managed to get the adaware last night its scanning again now as i type.

i think i foolishly clicked on a email link

what can i do?

 

adaware found nothing?

 

Weird, i'm getting the same too, click on a legit website and it redirects me a good few times I have to keep clicking back and trying again before it'll load up the right one.

And not just porn sites either, anything.

 

if you do complete fresh install of XP then connect to internet beware as it has some huge gaps in defenses that need service pack 3 installed to protect you against.

i would download the service pack 3 update and install straight after fresh copy of XP has been installed also make sure u have firewall/anti virus software installed before you finially connect it to the net, updated its secure but from release it had more holes than a tea bag

 

right got spybot it found 16 things and removed them, restarted pooter loaded up ok but when i go to google and search if i clikc on a link it just takes me to werever it wants to take me?
