There's a 'club' where I live that still plays this kinda stuff, heart of gold is like a signature tune in there! Not coz it's retro, just they haven't moved from the 90's yet! A good mate of mine DJ's there now and again, I could ask him to put a Maria mix on just for you, then I'd have to leave

Yes it does, it starts off with that then the tuneage properly kicks in, can't remember which dreamscape box set its from but it is a purely quality tune. Right at the very start of one of the tapes. Wish I still had my tape now or I knew where to get a copy of the tune it was awesome, used to give me goosebumps and grin like mad

Just checked my puter as I thought I might have it on mp3 as a mate of mine who is still well into it has tidied some up but I don't. I have all of Dreamscape 2, 3 & 4 plus one of the absolute classic sets, Slipmatt @ Fantasia NYE 92. Kicks off with Let me be your fantasy, a track I cannot stand now as its so overplayed and stolen years after its making by the dance scene who adopted it as their own.

I aslo have KLF, the Ragga Twins, Altern8 and a few others.

My message tone up until I got the i-phone was "top one, nice one, get sorted" as in Altern8

and I wouldn't say it was "happy hardcore" back then either. It was Rave. The DJ's played all the variations of the music from jungle to DnB, techno to happy hardcore as there wasn't much difference back then before it all went off on its different tangents.

still go to raves even now, they have just re-started Pleasuredome at fantasy island, they have had 2 so far since re starting and both have been amazing nights

dreamscape 24 probably has most of the most popular well known tunes on it..

Tried to find a tune on there that they don't have, Krome & Time - She keeps on running (DJ Hype mix) but its not on there. So many tunes to chose from. I am lucky in that my mate has a massive massive record collection and if you can name it, he has it, Rave wise.
