Do i need a photocard licence for driving in the states???
Might be heading there with work next week, haven't been there in 18 months, but the last time when i hired a car i didn't even have to show my driving licence.
So just wandered if anyone knows if rules have changed etc. or where i can find out more info??? I only have the paper part and might not have time to get a photo licence as i was just going to leave applying for a whole new licence when all my points come off in Jan 2010.

havent been in a couple of years, but my 'rents always got on the hire policy with their old school paper licenses and we went religiously every year
but to make things easier my dad went an took the american driving test and got himself a florida license. what a joke their test is - drive round a retail park and do a bay park thats about it
