Just thought i'd share this story.

My family are in the building trade. A guy wanted an extension on his house (nice double story type extension). Got a few quotes in from English builders which were fairly similar. Now the bloke also got a quote from some non-English builder (i'm not entirley sure what nationality, but i "think" polish or eastern block)

The non english builder quote was approx £12,000 less like for like. SO naturally he got the job.

Non English builder wanted £11,000 quid up front which the guy duly paid in CASH!

Non English builder skipped the country back to his native country £12,000.00 better off - turned out the builder was living illegally in this country

i think the bloke was naive to hand over that sort of money - tough lesson learnt. whilst i know he could have employed any english builder and the company could have gone bust, but the English builders had been established for years and had a good reputation

have to agree to a point here. if you CAN afford NOT to use council accomidation then you shouldnt be allowed to use them IN MY OPINION. they are there (supposedly) for those who need them (low income, disabled etc) not because you dont wanna pay full rent.

There is good and bad points in all political parties !!

however good or bad the bnp are the facts are this

1 MILLION people voted for them in the last local elections !!!!!!

the number of people saying they are going to vote for them in
the general election NEXT YEAR is rising rapidly month by month
so the other major players (i.e) labour, conservative, and the liberals
have either got to look at SOME of there policies and possibly adjust
there own ( as all the parties did 20 odd years ago when the green party
were causing a lot of concerns with global warming etc) or totally denounce
EVERYTHING they say as RACIST and risk them getting more & more supporters

you've got black peole voting for them after reading some of their litarature

and then, when you explain that they are all for you living here, but are going to deport your parents because they wern't born here, that's when the penny drops and they change their minds

i was on the radio the other day on lbc when some woman came on and started going on about the "indegionous population" and i made the simple point about what constitued being "indeionous" and she couldn't answer the question

first she was on about grandparents being born here, then she was on about being of fair skin and eventually she sort of said that it was all due to the inclement weather in europe than made people lighter skinned

there is so much myth lurking underneath, you just need someone to skim the glamour from the top to see what's under the surface beacuse for a while they said that you had to be indegionous native british person of caucasion complexion

we could argue the point all day, but i'm going to watch the telly tonight and make up my own mind as to what the actual policies of the party are

it seems that loads of peole will take them on board, but change them enoug to make them not bnp party policies

as for the immigrants and spongers, if there was no benifits system then they'd not be coming here en mass to try it on, why else do you think lorry loads of illegals come throug the ports every day looking for the good life?

I heard that woman on lbc, was funny cos james o'brian kept asking her what was indegionous and all she kept saying was about the climate, was comical, never realised you was on tho mate.

I agree with stopping benefits, if we didn't have benefits the immigrants would stop coming here and stay in spain / france instead of coming full hog to good old britain.

For all you who support what the BNP stand for - does that also mean you think this bloke should get back to his country, or do you support his struggle?

Not trying to be inflamatory, just curious.

I dont support the BNP, i just think along with others that immigration has got out of hand, and something needs to be done, as i originally said, i hope this makes the other parties labour / cons / green change their policies
