cosworth 2wd steering uj/knuckle upgrades

Default cosworth 2wd steering uj/knuckle upgrades

whilst stripping my car down, i noticed the steering uj plastic has broken up,



does anybody know of a simple upgrade for this?

yeah buy a new one .....beleive some land rovers used them and are available ,,not sure were or what model etc ......
also heat wrapping it helps mate

BMW E36 uses a similar design - might be worth looking at them and if the measurements are the same then go for it

About time! How long's it been in there? I had an arse of a job getting an original rubber one when mine turned to powder!

The BEST cure is to group 4 joint it in place of the rubber.
Otherwise southwalesprops.com have them as do mk1/2 escorts, also same as range rover classic from late 90's.
The all metal group 4 joint is around £19.

Yes the company whose name I can't remember regularly advertise in PPC, it's something like escort spares/group 4 spares, but it's only a std uj joint, should have it at DT RD etc.
