I know this is a re post but im hearing so many diffrent storys on how many rs ford are going to build.Was just talking to a friend of mine who has a white one and he says 4500 i know its more than that or are they going to make as many as they can sell thanks every one .

They will keep making them while they are selling well and until the Mk 3 comes out in 2010 /2011,( but not neccessarily the Mk3 RS in 2010 /2011)

Does anyone know how many have been made to date?

As far as I know they aren't currently producing them as there aren't enough orders and they are doing them in batches.

There are apparently around 1200 built RHD cars...

 

A friend of mine is still waiting and he ordered his in May.
