Default iTunes - Importing Bulk Songs

Yo!

Is there a way on iTunes of bulk importing rather than doing it song by song or album by album?

I have a hard drive with all my music on but i can't seem to find a way of transferring it all in one go?

Also, i have the lower two third of the songs that i have in iTunes with an explanation mark (!) next to them and its saying it can't find them but theres 9484!! Any way of making iTunes scan the pc to dind them as opposed to me searching manually?

Just drag and drop the folder, that contains all your music, straight into Itunes. It should then import all of the music in that folder.

If the files that Itunes cant find are in that folder too it should sort the problem out with the exclamation marks.

hi! you are better putting all the song files into a folder-then on the top left it has "file" use the drop down tool to add file or add folder.
if you add folder then i tunes will go through all the selected song and convert them if needed before being listed.

as for the songs with the exclamation mark next to them,it means that the file has been moved or changed in some way i think therefor i tunes cant locate it.
i usually just delete them as i dont think you can get them again without a manual search of each song!

hope this helps you.

cheers!

Fuck all that lol

Found a program that some fella put together that will scan whatever drive you select, then copy of the music files and then loads the copied files into iTunes! Ooooooh yeah!!

It makes a duplicate of every music file you have, then imports the duplicate into Itunes??

So you end up with two copies of every music file you have?

I don't "import' music into iTunes.

I just create a new playlist and then drag and drop the requires files I want on that specific playlist. It's by far the simplest way to do it and works best in my humble opinion.
